Phillip K. Dick, and reality.

“Imagine being sentient but not alive. Seeing and even knowing, but not alive. Just looking out. Recognizing but not being alive. A person can die and still go on. Sometimes what looks out at you from a person’s eyes maybe died back in childhood.”

“The Man in the High Castle” is an interesting book, and if one is a science fiction lover, then this book will keep you on edge for while, stimulate a wondering about “What if?”.

Its the work of Phillip K. Dick, a giant of a writer and true visionary of his time. Loved by the muse he was rewarded with some of the greatest works in science fiction that have been written. He was ahead of his time. And was underrated for his time.

“The Man in the High Castle” is also available in a TV series, quite well done, worth the watch, it was about four seasons long and never really ended as the book as, finished in that fashion. Left in an open-ending and unresolved. And P.K. Dick is good at doing this. He wanted his readers to come along and imagine.

An incomplete sequel was attempted so many times. Dick had stated that he had been deeply concerned and disturbed by his research on the original and could not bear going back and reading about Nazism again.

“There will come a time when it isn’t ‘They’re spying on me through my phone’ anymore. Eventually, it will be ‘My phone is spying on me’.”

The book “The Man in the High Castle” is based on an alternative history of World War II. The Axis powers win the war, and the story starts sometime in 1962 and speaks to an America that is partitioned between Japan and Nazi Germany. Without spoiling the story and a good read, it a complex study of that idea.

It received a well deserved Hugo award for best novel in 1963.

Now remember this is roughly 17 years after the end of the war. And Dick was 17 when the war ended. He was born in 1928 and died in 1982, and he would make something of that, rather than an odd fact. Great imaginations do that that; the looking at it would inspire some notion of numbers.  And he was doing precisely that with this book. Playing with coincidences that he noticed. Coincidence of thought. Coincidence of what he saw around him. And knew a lot more than we do, because those tracks have been covered up long time ago. And I share that thought with him.

So he had memories from that period of the war and its ending, and as a pacifist he was troubled by what he read and heard. He was dropped from the University of California with an honorable dismissal because he would not become a ROTC  which was mandatory at that time.

A believer in Panentheism, the belief that the divine extends to beyond space and time and intersects the whole part of the universe.

Phillip K Dick was an unusual eccentric and talented writer and mind, he wrote a number of books that have been made into popular movies; Total Recall; Minority Report; Blade Runner. And that makes him unusual because he could see straight ahead in to the future, decades ahead.

Dick understood the creative mind and understood life and media on another level, he was well before his time. He understood the nature of reality in a different sort of way. Stating…

“Because today we live in a society in which spurious realities are manufactured by the media, by governments, by big corporations, by religious groups, political groups… So I ask, in my writing, What is real? Because unceasingly we are bombarded with pseudo-realities manufactured by very sophisticated people using very sophisticated electronic mechanisms. I do not distrust their motives; I distrust their power. They have a lot of it. And it is an astonishing power: that of creating whole universes, universes of the mind. I ought to know. I do the same thing.”

P.K. Dick understood America in different way than most do, he was around when the cold war was raging and the Kennedy assassination happened the year after his Hugo, and the Bay of Pigs the year before, and that growing threat of global nuclear annihilation.

Forced many times to publish his books on low-paying science fiction venues; like a Van Gogh he never saw the success of the last three decades and his books and very popular movies which would have made him extremely wealthy. Not that, that would have mattered, Dick was an artist. He died about four months before the release of the Ridley Scott master work  ‘Blade Runner‘.

Phillip was a genius and a kind of prophet in way as he was able to understand the future in regards to what he was seeing in his present day.

The Man in the High Castle is not far from the truth really, when you stop for while and you take into consideration the state of the world today years after its writing, the book is predictive in a way. It a kind of blueprint for a society. He recognized something growing in people.

I think that Phillip saw something that those with open eyes recognize as the real meaning of the word Nazism.

Nazism was not that war machine prided itself on the Blitzkrieg. The swift and powerful mobilized warfare that with precision and greater technology overpowered its adversaries with bigger and faster guns and advanced machinery; more lethal ammunitions and precision, precision…precision.

It is not the holocaust, although that is important in its own sake.

Nazism was also a Reality Manufacturing Machine run by Joseph Goebbels and his Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. and that was probably the most important aspect of Nazism. The war against the mind.

Nazism was a cartel of corporations. A conglomerate of six world level chemical companies that were financed and supported by Wall Street and Central London. Those who saw world war as a population control mechanism.

Farben was the largest company in Europe and the largest chemical and pharmaceutical company in the world. The inventions that have spun off from that evil coalition of those six companies, have fueled the future and its research into plastics synthetics and bio-technical and biogenetic goals. The beginnings of what became nanotechnology and technocratic control. The technological engineering of everything. They changed the face of industry and moved it into a direction, were we see ourselves now.

The Nazi was world corporations moving slowly towards what we see today as globalism. Nazism was the invention of the European Union, it was their idea originally as a way to govern that collective of nations, that we now see in dispute with a Russian Federation. Nazism was about a philosophy of thought. Nazism was that renewed Germany in light of the darkness it brought to the world over some four decades of the beginning of the twentieth century. It promised to put a chicken in every pot, and rid the world of all that was inferior. And it plugged into already secretly held beliefs and allowed them to manifest in the open.

It was Nazism in the work of economists, like Gustav Hilger who was never prosecuted for war crimes, who found highly lucrative work with the Americans and the Gehlen Organization and eventually the State Department after the war.

Otto Albrecht Alfred von Bolschwing the SS-Hauptsturmführer who born of a aristocratic family he found work with the CIC and the CIA and Gehlen’s Organization, and part of a State department for international development for India as an executive, and for a series of pharmaceutical and chemical companies; but again never tried for his crimes, he died in a nursing home in Carmichael, California. Having lived his moment in the sun.

The Nazi criminals who became German Spooks. And scattered when the wall came down.

Members of the Galicia Division [14th Grenadier Division of the Waffen SS] were initially prohibited from entering Canada due to their membership in the SS. But in 1950, Britain made an appeal to the Commonwealth for volunteers to accept a total of 9,000 division members who were at that time residing in the UK after being disarmed by British troops at the war’s end.”

“Around the same time, the Simon Wiesenthal Center estimated that upwards of 2,000 Nazis and Nazi collaborators emigrated to Canada in the years after the war.”

Canada also receive many Nazi collaborators and war criminals, one happens to be the grandfather (Mikhail Chomiak) of the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, Chrystia Freeland, a avid supporter of Ukrainian Neo-Nazi regime and a Banderite.

And so Nazism grew in secret in the farmlands of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Vladimir Katriuk died of a stroke in a hospital in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec on 22nd May 2015, age of 93 a member of the Schutzmannschaft Battalion 118 (Ukrainian Schuma) he operated a machine gun in extermination at the Khatyn massacre. Ranked number 3 on the Simon Wiesenthal Centre top ten most wanted. He looked like your aged grandfather all sweet and humbled, and raising bees.

Dick understood that Nazism was not an army but an idea, a terrible and powerful idea, a evil poured over everything, that was gaining in its numbers with the elites of the world. Nazism is a cancer of the soul. The ideology of eugenics and overpopulation; technocracy; Nazism’s idea of a third and fourth Reich, and fifth if necessary. Empires that rise from the ashes of the previous. Relentless unless wiped out totally.

“There was a beauty in the trash of the alleys which I had never noticed before; my vision seemed sharpened, rather than impaired. As I walked along it seemed to me that the flattened beer cans and papers and weeds and junk mail had been arranged by the wind into patterns; these patterns, when I scrutinized them, lay distributed so as to comprise a visual language.”

The third Reich with rise from Nazi Germany and it immense economic and industrial and war machine that attempted to take control of that world.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution; a massive corporate conglomerate of some 1,000 corporations arming and financing a European Union and it global army of NATO. Is, the rise of the Fourth Reich. Without a godam doubt.

After the second world war America took in from the ruins of Europe the scientists and philosophers, the psychologists and medical doctors, the engineers and experts in the fields of economics and the running of global corporations like Farben. They took in engineers and high tech experts. Cutting age scientist and computer technologists.

The Pentagon and the newly formed CIA and the intelligence community as a whole was advised and started through the ideas and teachings of the Gestapo high command and the commander and first in power of the Nazi forces in Europe against Russia aided and awarded by both America and  Nazi Germany.

Reinhard Gehlen and the Gehlen Organization? Collaborators and Nazis where allowed to flow out to the west in great numbers, those who ran newspapers and magazines of propaganda during the war, and were minor officials collaborative with the Nazis in their countries of origin.

Operation Paperclip brought thousands.

I.G. Farben was separated into it six entities and the Nuremburg trials slapped the hands of those who used slave labour and created the munitions and armaments and gas use in the camps.

Bayer one of those who was prohibited from doing business in the United States, but found an ally in Monsanto, whom they form a new company with — Mobay with which to sell its polyurethanes to America. And the data collected from the suffering of Jews was paced on to Monsanto.

NASA acquired Von Braun, the same man who made V1 and V2 rockets and worked in Germany’s nuclear program. That rockets that fell on English cities.

The Second World War was never really completed, it was never finished with. As can be read in work of Matthew Ehret is his brilliant piece “For Victory Day: It’s Time to Think About Finally Winning WWII“, the ugly truth is that the Bush family, and monarchy, and psychopaths like the Dulles brothers and Wall Street hustlers where the more important Nazis that were never tried and convicted of their terrible life-long crimes.

“Maybe each human being lives in a unique world, a private world different from those inhabited and experienced by all other humans. . . If reality differs from person to person, can we speak of reality singular, or shouldn’t we really be talking about plural realities? And if there are plural realities, are some more true (more real) than others?”

Phillip K. Dick understood how deeply these ideas entrenched themselves in the people, he understood how secretly this idea of a type of man is cultured in societies as cultural Darwinism, polluted and fortifies the ideals of the Übermensch and the Marxist collective of, ‘we are all in this together’, meanwhile behind the curtains the Nazi yearns for the day he will become the supreme being and ruler of the world. And then the galaxy.

Phillip understood at what grass root levels Nazism takes hold as in education and early conditioning of young people; critical race theory, and twisted and perverse ideas of gender and sexuality, corruption of the education system and the self worth of those they despise and aid to cull are the likely ideas and thoughts.

Nazism is a atheist belief, a religion by it itself to adherents who adorn even ornate their bodies with tattoos and the symbols of that religious idea. The swastika is an ancient Aryan idea and symbol. Scientism is a Nazi faith.

Dick understood it from the singular mind that finds itself helpless and trapped in the end by a existential universe where one is but a blink of an eye in a vast and undefinable universe.

Global Nazism has now risen in the WEF and wages war in the Ukraine.

“You will be required to do wrong no matter where you go. It is the basic condition of life, to be required to violate your own identity. At some time, every creature which lives must do so. It is the ultimate shadow, the defeat of creation; this is the curse at work, the curse that feeds on all life. Everywhere in the universe.”
