“THE GIVING PLEDGE”: Philanthropy as an investment and a way of evading tax…

In 2010 Bill Gates and Warren Buffet announced formally -- and with a lot of pomp and ceremony "The Giving Pledge" campaign and started recruiting membership. The campaign was, "...to encourage extremely wealthy people to contribute a majority of their wealth to philanthropic causes." "Now hang on a  minute, my eyes watered up, give me a minute okay...*cough, sniff*" "*Sigh*...okay I am better now." Now ordinarily one would say, "OMG, how wonderful, all those rich billionaires contributing to the fixing of world problems, philanthropy and humanitarian causes and things like proper government, health care, and global hunger and suffering, and confronting the real problems of the present and future world -- finally, these might be addressed." But that is not what is happening here. In fact, things will get worse as these fools start to utilize vast sums of money to fix what, they believe, are the problems of mankind. Without a consensus of approval by the rest of us, this tiny number, of some 200 individuals will make earth-shattering decisions and changes to the planet. From climate to vaccination, from freedom to politics, to vaccination and back to politics and then vaccination again. And then a immunity passport with socialism attached.
